You can browse our stock of approximately 20,000 antique, second hand or new books on this website using the Advanced Search Page or the quick search links above.
As many of our books are sold over the counter through the shop, we calculate postage on internet orders manually, combining books and comparing options to keep shipping costs as low as possible. Just add the books to your basket, request an invoice and we'll work out the final price and send you an email for easy payment.
We keep a very large stock of second hand and antique books of all subjects in our book shop and on our internet site but our largest book stocks are in Archaeology, British Topography, The Countryside and Wales.
If you are planning a visit to Kingon, Herefordshire or the Welsh borderlands, you can prepare by ordering a new book or map from our range of new local books, maps and books about walking. Have a look at our local book page or browse the range of current and historical OS maps.
We also produce lists and catalogues of interesting books or individual subjects, some of which are available for viewing or printing as MS Word files here.
Please contact us through this site or by telephone on +44 (0)1544 231195 (during shop hours), 01544 231161 (all day, weekends and evenings), fax +44 (0)1544 231161 if we can assist you in any way or if you wish to receive a general or specific subject list.
All books and maps can be dispatched anywhere in the world - surface or airmail at cost.
